They come in, they fall out

Tonight was a big night for the McKinneys. B lost his first tooth! It's been hanging out for awhile in there (you might remember this). Tonight I was watching as B was eating dinner and I could see that thing flapping back and forth. He was very jumpy about us even looking at the tooth. Occasionally, he would let me touch it as long as I didn't wiggle it. Tonight, though, we told him how the McKinney family celebrates losing your first tooth: ice cream! So, he starting wiggling it with a bit more drive. And, he agreed to let me try to pull it out. He really wanted me to, but was scared to death. He was nearly crying and bit my fingers or pulled away every time he let me close. Finally, we got him to lie on the bed, and the first time I pushed the tooth back, out it came. It's the tiniest little thing! I remember how excited we were to see that little tooth come in. And, tonight, we cheered and high-fived when it came out. Then, ice cream!
